CHYP IN
NCVS has established CHYP IN, an information network for the voluntary sector about Every Child Matters and the changing children's and young people's services agenda. There are over 250 voluntary and community groups in this information network. NCVS produces a newsletter, CHYP IN, convenes a voluntary sector reference group, circulates consultation information and holds CHYP IN events for the voluntary sector three times a year.
Commissioning and VCS views (3 September 2008) The purpose of this meeting is to develop a collective voluntary and community sector (VCS) view of the commissioning of children's and young people's services in Newcastle. This will be in order to influence the review by the Children and Young People Strategic Partnership Executive of the Children's Services Commissioning Framework in October.
