LocalLocal Safeguarding Children Board - is the key statutory mechanism for agreeing how organisations will co-operate to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Newcastle Plan for Children and Young People - this plan has been produced by Newcastle City Council and will guide the delivery of integrated children's services in line with the Every Child Matters agenda. NationalChildren England (formerly known as the National Council of Voluntary Child Care Organisations) - aims to create a fairer world for children, young people and families by championing the voluntary organisations which work on their behalf. National Council for Voluntary Youth Services - supports voluntary and community organisations that work with young people. VCS Engage - a national programme, designed to strengthen the engagement of the voluntary and community sector in the Every Child Matters agenda.
