LocalIDEA Tree - a social enterprise support project set up by disabled people to foster new disabled entrepreneurs as well as new social enterprises for the benefit of disabled people. RegionalEntrust - assists small businesses in the North East with advice, consultancy and training with a view to improving growth, development and sustainability. NESEP - the North East Social Enterprise Partnership supports and promotes social enterprise in the North East. NationalBusiness Link - provides support, information and advice for businesses. Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform - has lead responsibility within the government for small business and enterprise policy. It aims to strengthen the enterprise environment for small businesses and to enable more people and communities to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.
