    • Are you ready to fundraise?
    • Do you know what your funding needs are?
    • Can you identify the potential barriers to being successful?
    • What do you need to give yourself the best chance of success?

It can help to take a step back and assess where you are now before ploughing ahead. We can work with you to explore options, opportunities, issues and solutions to help you devise a solid funding/ income generation strategy moving forward.
There are a number of options we can use to help you with this:

    • We can facilitate a session with staff/ volunteers and trustees and produce a report with guidance to help you move forwards
    • We can facilitate a pre lottery application session to help you focus your thoughts and identify potential fundable projects (including clarifying need and outcomes)
    • We can also appraise current plans and make recommendations for improvements by email or face to face.

We can work closely with you to ensure the applications you prepare are as good as they can be to give you the best chance of being successful. We act as a critical friend to highlight both weaknesses and strengths. We can work in a way that suits you and your organisation best – whether that means a face to face visit or communication by email.

This work also includes an editing service – useful when word counts are low and you are too close to the application to decide what to cut. We can start with a free half hour application appraisal where you email us a draft and we give initial comments with a quote for further support if it is needed. Or we can have an initial meeting to work out the best way we can support you moving forwards.
