Information and advice

We provide information and advice free of charge on a range of topics that are important to people who are part of voluntary and community organisations active in Newcastle, whether well established or just setting up.  This includes information and advice relating to:

  • developing a governing document (constitution, trust deed, memorandum & articles of association)

  • revising an existing governing document

  • help with charity registration

  • charity and employment law

  • equal opportunities

  • good management practices

  • dealing with a crisis (often this will be a confidential issue)

We can help on the telephone, or you can arrange an appointment to see us.  If you need information or advice, please call NCVS on 0191 232 7445 and ask for Stephanie Cole in the Information Section, or email her.
