Policy Officer (Newcastle Science City)

£24,646 - £28,636 per annum

Are you interested in science and technology and have good people skills?

We are part of a major initiative, Science City, aiming to make Newcastle a centre of excellence in science.  NCVS is a partner in the Community Engagement Project to raise awareness, interest and understanding of science in our local communities.  We bring voluntary groups and the science community together to work in partnership, and we communicate science to make it understandable and relevant.  We are looking for someone with good people and communication skills and an interest in science to lead this work.  Knowledge of the voluntary sector will be an advantage.

Finance Assistant (NCVS)

£22,221 - £23,708 per annum

Applicants must have accountancy experience to final accounts level, have a good knowledge of payroll, sound administrative skills and the ability to get on with a wide range of people.

Administrator (Advocacy)

This is a part time (30 hours) post on NJC Scale 4, points 18-19, currently £17,161- £17,802 per annum pro rata

The successful applicant will provide administrative and reception support to a busy advocacy project.  Applicants should have excellent organisational and communication skills, and an ability to work sensitively with a wide range of vulnerable people.  They must be competent with ICT particularly Microsoft Office.

Mental Health Advocacy Co-ordinator

Part time - 7 hours
